Cherie Karol is one of our special education teachers who is employed by the Rochester City School District. She provides support to students in a resource setting as well as directly in the general education classroom.
After graduating from Penfield High School, she attended SUNY Oswego obtaining a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. Prior to teaching for the Rochester City School District, Cherie was a special education teacher for over seven years at Cobblestone School.
Cherie resides in Greece, NY, with her husband Scott, two young boys and two cats. In the summer, Cherie can be found in Darien Lake every week enjoying the sun and outdoors with her children. She also enjoys reading, going to football games and spending time with family and friends. In the winter, she enjoys skiing at Bristol Mountain every weekend with her whole family.
