Jeremiah Ditch

Jeremiah is a Webster, NY native and a huge fan of the Rochester area. He is married with two boys, and lives in the village of Fairport. Both of his boys attend Fairport Schools. As a family, they love to explore Rochester and take in all the festivals, events, and natural wonders we have. Food truck rodeos at the Public Market, the museums, and the Fairport Music Fest are some of his family’s favorite things. When he is not doing those things, you can find him at Hot Shots playing volleyball, mountain biking the Finger Lakes Trail, or reading science fiction. Jeremiah might also be playing trading card games like Pokemon or Star Wars Destiny with his boys. His favorite Pokemon character is Camerupt. He's a camel with volcanoes for humps. Totally boss (as his boys would say)!

Jeremiah had a whole different career prior to becoming a teacher. For almost 15 years he worked as a CPA in large local accounting firm. In 2015, he followed a long-time aspiration to teach. Jeremiah had a passion for education and our schools ever since he began debating the finer points of schooling with his 5th grade teachers (and, quite often, the principal). He received a Masters in Education at St. John Fisher College in 2017 and is certified in NYS to teach both Elementary and Special Education, grades 1-6.
Jeremiah loves GCCS for many reasons. He loves that we value social skills as much as academic learning. He loves that we explore the world outside of the classroom and that we sing, dance, and laugh everyday! It's a very happy place and he is so happy to be a part of it.
