With hybrid learning and keeping safe distances, this has been a year to experiment with Community Circle’s accessibility.  Three times a month, Community Circle is split into two live Zoom sessions for families and students to enjoy.  Mrs. Barone has partnered with Mrs. Dooley (our English as a New Language teacher), Kyle and Lauren (our Social Emotional Learning team), and Mr. Smith (our expert musical community member) to consider new ways to celebrate our diverse community while holding true to some of our traditions.  The Diversity and Racial Equity Group has also played a role in supporting Community Circle providing feedback regarding the content and accessibility for students and families.

Once a month, Mrs. Barone and Mr. Smith collaborate to create a special Community Circle feature in a surprise Rochester location!  With the recording and posting on YouTube, Community Circles now have a wider reach.  Channel 13 and Alexis Arnold learned of our unique approach to staying connected and interviewed Mrs. Barone and Mr. Smith on the Many Voices, Many Visions show that was aired on Sunday morning.  Here is the link to the program if you missed it: https://13wham.com/features/many-voices-many-visions/improving-your-financial-stability-community-circle-educates-through-song
