Dignity for All Students Act (DASA)

Dignity for All Students Act (DASA)

The Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) was implemented in New York State to ensure that schools create a safe and respectful climate. Given our core belief that all individuals are entitled to be treated with dignity and respect, it is the policy of GCCS to prohibit any conduct that constitutes a climate in which individuals feel fear and/or intimidation. Reported incidents of teasing, name-calling, and/or bullying are grounds for investigation by the DASA Coordinators at each GCCS campus. We understand that occasional incidents may occur, but we maintain zero tolerance for extreme cases and/or patterns of targeted abuse. Such incidents may lead to suspension or removal at the School Director’s discretion

Report Your DASA Concern

To report an incident, please fill out a report form and submit it to the DASA Coordinator at your child’s respective campus. Once the form is received, the incident will be investigated and appropriate actions will follow based on the findings and school policies.

School Closed on January 19

Both GCCS campuses will be closed on Monday, 1/19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, 1/20. Enjoy the long weekend!
